Billing Specialist; Chicago, IL

The Billing Specialist works in a team environment processing paperwork, create invoices, and timely billing clients for service provided.

• Process paperwork by the use of a document management system
• Prepare accurate and timely invoices
• Perform internal audits to ensure accuracy of billing
• Communicate with internal departments and/or external vendors/clients to facilitate accurate billing
• Scan and deliver invoices via email or website/customer portal
• Perform data entry in Excel based reports and submit electronically to clients
• Time management in ensuring standard processes are met
• Any and all duties that are assigned

• Two (2) years of invoicing/billing experience preferred
• Household goods/Moving industry knowledge a plus
• Proficient in MS Office products
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented & well-organized
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Use of computer for an extended period time daily
• Sitting for an extended time while working at a desk
• Standing, Walking to access office machinery, cabinets, etc.
• Communicates occasionally over the phone
