Overview
Office Services Coordinator at Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA). The role focuses on conference room setups, in-house cleaning services, daily meetings and monthly Board setups/breakdowns, sanitization of conference rooms and kitchens, and supporting facilities and record retention coordination during staff absences.
Essential Functions- Clean and disinfect offices, workstations, conference rooms, glass, common areas, bathrooms and kitchens.
- Routine cleaning of frequently touched surfaces (e.g., touch screens, chairs, tables).
- Detail cleaning and disinfecting of onsite appliances (microwaves, refrigerators, toasters) and periodic end-of-month cleanings.
- Maintain Outlook calendar and Service Desk ticket system; set up and clean Glass House I, II, III and Cape Cod for meetings and Board meetings; assist with Board day lobby setup and breakdown.
- Coordinate internal communications following up on housekeeping and conference room needs.
- Manage entry kiosk areas, conference rooms, stock PPE and replenish as needed.
- Act as backup to Administrative Services staff during absences (sorting mail, affixing postage, stocking copiers, managing destruction bins, and accompanying vendors during pickups).
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Human Resources or the Senior Operations Manager in Operational Excellence.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years of experience in housekeeping or related work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites.
- Ability to dust mop and wet mop hard floors; safe waste disposal.
- Knowledge of cleaning/disinfecting product usage and PPE practices as prescribed by management.
- Ability to initiate and follow verbal and written instructions; clear and effective communication.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, with good time management; able to work independently and in a team.
- May require a variable schedule and occasional weekend work to meet deadlines.

- Salary range: $44,729 - $55,911
Must be a resident of Illinois or willing to relocate. Flexible scheduling available after a six-month probationary period.
