The Contract Assistant will provide contract and administrative support for the Contract team.

Responsibilities
  • Update GATX's Monthly Fleet Status Report (MFSR) which addresses the status of the locomotive fleet.
  • Coordinate with the Billing team to update customer billing contacts.
  • Maintain and update the Customer Master database including shop codes and miscellaneous billing.
  • Organize and maintain electronic contract files.
  • Audit monthly SAP activity report for accuracy including new assignments and renewals.
  • Provide invoicing & billing support, including responding to customer requests.
  • Support internal and external audit data requests.
  • Assist with other special projects as required.
  • Learn basics of the Contract Specialist role including contract creation, SAP entries and processing documents in Docu Sign.
  • Provide Customer and Sales support when Contract Specialists are unavailable.
Qualifications
  • College degree or paralegal certification
  • 1-3 years administrative or contract experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products required
  • Experience with SAP, Docu Sign and Salesforce preferred
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

This is a hybrid position that will require the employee to work in the office at least 3 days a week throughout the year.

Compensation

Min: USD $59,600.00/Yr.

Max: USD $67,600.00/Yr.

This role may be eligible to participate in the Company's short-term incentive plan, the details of which will be provided to the applicant upon hire.

This range is a reasonable estimate and takes into account several factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, geographic location, skill set, experience, education, training, internal equity, and other business needs.
