DutiesWarmly welcome visitors and employees into our Corporate Headquarters or Hamburger University
Assist visitors in obtaining visitor badges to enter the office areas
Demonstrate exemplary hospitality skills; be customer obsessed, display a friendly, positive attitude
Provide visitors or employees with information about daily meetings or events and assist visitors with travel questions, restaurant recommendations, luggage storage
Direct visitors to restrooms, beverage service, and other building amenities
Help with way finding within the building
Provide administrative support, as needed
Subject matter expert in our visitor management system
Act as an ambassador for Brand McDonald’s
Badge assembly:
How to prep badges, organize, alphabetize, and complete without support
Timesheet management:
Editing entries, correcting mistakes, and submitting on time
Badge identification:
Knowing the different badge types (visitor, contractor, field, temp, etc.) and when each is used and appropriate workflows
Lobby coverage expectations:
Staying present, aware, and proactive during coverage; knowing when to shift lobbies, work as a team and when to escalation
Email communication:
Responding to personal/GEL emails, writing clear updates, and looping in the right partners
Calendar awareness:
Knowing daily schedules, large groups, and expected visitors
Escalation steps:
Who to contact for tech issues, badge problems, shuttle issues, LGs, HU or guest concerns
Basic troubleshooting:
Restarting kiosk tablets, iPads, checking printers, and resolving simple issues before escalating
Workday basics:
Updating team, checking inbox/teams for tasks, and completing required actions
Professional:
Being approachable, attentive, and maintaining a polished front desk demeanor
Understanding daily priorities:
Knowing what tasks must be done without reminders (restocking badges, LGs, lobby/desk readiness, etc.)
Shuttle coordination:
Understanding shuttle timing and who to contact for support
Large group support :
Knowing the workflow for LGs, especially for high‑volume days, and loop in the LG subject matter expert when needed
Awareness of building partners:
Knowing who Security, SOLO, HU, Facilities, Tech Bar, and Shuttle Ops are and when to involve them
Understanding SOPs:
Following established processes without needing reminders or re‑explanations
Self‑management:
Staying productive during downtime, anticipating needs, and completing tasks without being prompted
