We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Repair Technician to join the team. You will be responsible for prepping plastic parts for top coats. The ideal candidate will have experience with polishing scratches, priming, and inspection of automobile plastic components (bumpers, front and rear). This is a great opportunity to join an established auto body repair shop with growth and career advancement.
Responsibilities- Prepping plastic parts for topcoat
- Applying adhesion promoter
- Reinspecting plastic parts for any flaws
- Feather edging repair material
- Applying final topcoats (water born primer)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.
- Previous experience as an auto body prepper or technician is preferred
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in auto body repair
- Proficient in the use of most auto body tools for prepping and feather edging
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in tight spaces.
