Job Title
Automotive Porter
LocationBerman Subaru of Chicago
ScheduleFull Time. Monday-Saturday;
Sundays + One Weekday Off.

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, offering assistance with locating vehicles or directing them to the appropriate department
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of vehicles on the lot, including washing and vacuuming dealership and customer vehicles
- Move vehicles to designated areas
- Safely provide vehicle pickup and delivery for customers
- Perform regular checks of vehicle keys and ensure they are stored securely and accounted for at all times
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks to maintain the appearance and functionality of the dealership building and grounds
- Collaborate with sales, service, and other dealership departments to support overall operations and customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of entrances and common areas, sweeping and removing trash as needed
- Complete other miscellaneous duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (3‑year minimum)
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending or kneeling as required
- Demonstrated punctuality and reliability in attendance
- Dependable work ethic with a commitment to completing tasks thoroughly and efficiently
- Familiarity with basic building maintenance tasks such as lightbulb changes and lawn care
- Willingness to learn and perform routine maintenance duties as assigned
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and prioritize tasks effectively
