To do this, we are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to lead the business processes for Record to Report for our SAP S/4

HANA implementation with a strong focus on finance transformation. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in managing large-scale global SAP programs, particularly in the realm of Record to Report processes, ensuring seamless integration of technology solutions to drive operational efficiencies and financial process excellence.

The Record to Report (R2R) Business Lead will serve as the business process owner for the Finance (General Ledger, Consolidations, Intercompany, Fixed Assets, and Period-End Close) workstream in the SAP S/4

HANA implementation. This role will report to the Sr. Director, Finance Transformation Program Management. This role will partner with IT, system integrators, and business stakeholders to design, build, test, and deploy the future-state R2R processes that enable Amer Sports’ Finance Transformation agenda. The R2R Lead will ensure that the solution design reflects leading practices, supports Amer Sports’ control environment, and provides scalability for future growth.

Additionally, this role will ensure continuous close is a core consideration in S/4

HANA process design by aligning data structures, leveraging real-time postings, and automating reconciliations. This individual will represent Finance in cross-functional design decisions and drive adoption and change across the global finance community. As this is a global role, travel is expected to support the program.

• Process Leadership:
  Define, design, and validate end‑to‑end R2R processes within SAP, including inventory accounting, ensuring alignment with the company’s global finance model for the SAP S/4 program. This role will have a dotted reporting line to the Group Controllership organization and partner closely with all team members involved in the end‑to‑end RTR process.
• Solution Design Leadership:
  Lead solution design for the full scope of Record to Report processes. Partner with system integrators to translate business requirements into SAP functionality and ensure implications are addressed across ancillary systems and integrations outside SAP. Scope includes the full R2R cycle: chart of accounts, journal entries, allocations, intercompany, asset & lease accounting, inventory accounting, statutory and management reporting, and automation of R2R processes.
• Governance & Controls:
  Ensure all R2R processes meet internal control standards, SOX compliance, and audit requirements as it related to the SAP S/4 program. Identify and propose automation opportunities for manual processes and controls, leveraging S/4
  
  HANA functionality.
• Data Management:
  Lead R2R‑related data mapping, cleanup, and validation efforts to ensure accuracy and consistency, leveraging the established global data model and all finance code block elements. Responsible to ensure the finance code block connects through the end‑to‑end finance ecosystem.
• Program Delivery:
  Drive the R2R workstream through all phases of implementation: design, build, testing, data migration, cutover, and hypercare; ensuring deliverables are met on time and to a high standard.
