Position Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven VP, Global Business Development to join our team. This role is responsible for the strategic planning and management of the sales cycle to acquire new clients and manage a portfolio of existing clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Identify and target potential clients within the moving and storage industry.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote the company’s services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the moving and storage industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Must have valid Driver’s License with safe driving record.
