Base pay range$70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
The Account Manager is responsible for driving and delivering revenue across the LOT network and identifying new business opportunities within the assigned territory. The position is based in the Chicago Sales Office and will include managing a portfolio of agencies located primarily, but not exclusively on the West Coast, as well as managing direct corporate business. This role requires an account management leader that can successfully strategize for business and revenue growth and identify new growth opportunities.
The Manager reports to Director of Sales US & CA and works closely with the LOT HQ Sales & Revenue Teams and the Global Corporate Sales Team.
Job Description:
Represent the LOT Polish Airlines brand across various market segments; manage relationships with assigned agency and corporate accounts to ensure strong performance and develop strategies to increase market share while achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management & Business Development
- Manage a portfolio of corporate travel and agency accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop and execute account plans focused on revenue growth, yield improvement, and market share expansion.
- Identify new business opportunities within assigned markets and pursue them strategically.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with clients to assess contractual compliance, performance metrics, and potential for incremental business.
Sales Strategy & Revenue Optimization
- Negotiate corporate agreements (CIP) and agency (AIP) incentive contracts to optimize profitability.
- Analyze account performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with Revenue Management and Pricing teams to ensure competitive and profitable pricing structures.
- Monitor competitor activities and market developments to anticipate challenges and adjust strategies accordingly.
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for all corporate and agency client matters, ensuring seamless communication and proactive support.
- Build long-term partnerships with corporate travel managers, procurement teams, and travel management companies (TMCs).
- Coordinate and deliver presentations, business reviews, and performance reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Represent the airline at industry events, client meetings, and trade fairs to promote brand visibility and engagement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal departments including Marketing, Network, Pricing, Revenue Management, and Customer Experience to deliver tailored solutions.
- Partner with Global and Regional Sales Teams to align local strategies with international objectives.
- Contribute insights and feedback from the field to support product and service development initiatives.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date account records.
- Prepare regular sales and performance reports, forecasts, and market analyses.
- Support budgeting and planning processes by providing detailed insights on account potential and revenue performance.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in corporate sales or account management, preferably within the airline, travel, or hospitality industry
- Analytical acumen: high level ability to mine data and translate into executable action
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Aptitude for cultivating customer relationships leading to increased sales
