Manager, Corporate Strategy

The Manager of Corporate Strategy will work as a core member of Excel's Corporate Strategy team and with the broader senior leadership team to devise and own Excel's annual and multi‑year strategic growth plans. The role is critical to evaluating key growth opportunities, including expansion into new markets, building business plans for new ventures, and conducting extensive due diligence on acquisition and strategic investment targets.

• Design and direct the annual & quarterly strategic planning process.
• Improve how the company communicates strategy & progress against plans.
• Build and maintain KPI frameworks and dashboards; partner with BI/Data teams to operationalize metrics and automate reporting.
• Track performance against declared investment areas and generate investment scorecards to inform resource allocation.
• Work closely with division heads and the strategy team on key strategic growth initiatives and present findings and analysis.
• Lead bespoke landscaping and market mapping exercises, delivering research and a point of view on market opportunity, including recommending specific companies of interest.
• Assist in preparation of monthly strategy and M&A meetings, quarterly board meetings, and in the preparation of annual budgeting and multi‑year projection modeling.
• Support the M&A process, including pipeline management, prioritization and due diligence of potential acquisitions, and creation of materials for board approval.
• Manage the coordination of the strategy team’s schedule and responsibilities related to tracking and follow‑up.

• Must have three or more years of consulting, investment banking, and/or M&A transaction‑related experience.
• Technology, media and entertainment experience is a plus.

• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must have the ability to demonstrate uncompromised judgment and discretion.
• Must be able to think critically and drive decision making by coordinating and aligning with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency and/or training in financial modeling skills is a major plus.

The pay range for this position is: $100,000 per year – $120,000 per year. This position is also eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus.
