We are seeking a results-driven professional with strong commercial exposure to the Facilities Management industry in a senior role. This opportunity is less about traditional procurement process expertise and more about building client partnerships, leading projects from planning through execution, and ensuring that IFM contracts consistently deliver measurable value over time.
The Sourcing Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) Services Expert will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our FM service strategies, driving savings initiatives, and ensuring long-term performance improvement across hard and soft services, capital projects, and related FM solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, negotiation, and execution of IFM service agreements across hard services (engineering, maintenance), soft services (cleaning, security, workplace), and capital projects.
- Drive cost efficiency, savings initiatives, and performance improvements while maintaining service excellence.
- Act as a trusted partner to Chain IQ’s clients and FM providers, ensuring clear communication, alignment of goals, and sustainable value creation.
- Manage the entire contract lifecycle: from structuring and onboarding through ongoing performance reviews, compliance tracking, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with FM operations, finance, and real estate teams to deliver commercial outcomes that support the organization’s objectives.
- Manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment, ensuring on-time execution and continuous value delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong client and supplier relationships that foster trust, accountability, and results.
- Use data and analytics to validate savings, supplier performance, and overall ROI for FM initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a commercial, category management, procurement, sales, or account management role within Facilities Management, Real Estate, or a related industry.
- Background in IFM procurement/category management is equally valid, provided it combines project execution and commercial contract management.
- Strong background in structuring and managing contracts for integrated FM services, with a track record of delivering cost savings and performance improvements.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership.
- Demonstrated project management capability, from planning through successful delivery and continuous improvement.
- Strong financial and analytical skills, including savings validation and value realization.
- Knowledge of the US FM services market and provider landscape is preferred.
