Position: Business Development Director – BSI Engineering
Location: Chicago, IL
Salary range: $125,000 – $165,000 (based on experience)
OverviewThe Regional Business Development Director will develop new clients and manage sales for existing clients within 250 miles of the regional office. This role supports BSI Engineering’s sustainability and growth, focusing on client relationships, horizontal growth, and repeat business.
Responsibilities- Develop and manage a regional new client growth plan.
- Assist in the Sales Forecasting program with the VP of Business Development.
- Provide input into geographical growth diversification.
- Structure plans to bring work to the regional office.
- Utilize and suggest improvements to the proposal management program.
- Assist in the development of the company marketing program.
- Collaborate with other Business Development Directors to create regional sales forecasts.
- Work with VP of Business Development to grow client relationships.
- Support topics at management team meetings.
- Ensure profit margin targets are met in collaboration with VP of Business Development.
- 10+ years of experience in Business Development.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong professionalism and leadership skills.
