Join Our Corporate Operations Team

ECG’s Corporate Operations team has 100-plus employees associated with ECG offices across the country. These team members keep the business running, manage payroll and benefits offerings, ensure deliverables are high quality, hire and train employees, market our services, streamline business processes, and much more. Corporate Operations departments include Administrative Services, Business Development, Document Production Center, Finance, Human Resources, IT, and Marketing.

Your Opportunity with ECG :
Expense Report Specialist

As an expense report specialist at ECG, you will support ECG’s employees by ensuring that expense reports are paid in a timely manner and in accordance with applicable policies and procedures. To be successful, you will need to be analytically minded, self-motivated, and a quick learner. You’ll need to be able to work with a wide range of personalities across all levels of the organization and maintain confidentiality.

Key qualities you bring to the team would include : flexibility, collaboration, passion for details and accuracy, desire to produce quality work, strong work ethic, dependability, creative problem-solver with demonstrated ability to use independent judgment and initiative to identify problems and recommend solutions.

Your Responsibilities May Include
  • Processing a high volume of employee expense reports in a timely manner to ensure prompt reimbursement for 300-plus employees.
  • Reviewing expense reports to ensure compliance with applicable company policies and procedures.
  • Providing appropriate receipts and documentation for expenses billable to clients as required.
  • Ensuring expenses are coded to the proper client project or overhead account.
  • Researching and resolving discrepancies and issues.
  • Corresponding with employees and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Training and guiding employees on the use of expense report software.
  • Providing supporting documentation for audits.
  • Assisting in monthly close activities and performing reconciliation duties as well as other financial responsibilities as assigned.
Our Expectations of You
  • Two-plus years of experience in expense management, basic accounting, or bookkeeping
  • Associate’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
  • Knowledgeable in Concur expense management software preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiarity of One Note, One Drive, SharePoint, Teams, Service Now, and Deltek preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organization and follow-up skills
  • Capable of managing multiple responsibilities with little supervision
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
