Summary/Objective:
This position will have the responsibility of managing our purchasing team in the planning, forecasting, and procuring of all raw materials to support operations. This will be a hands-on position requiring active involvement in the managing of vendors, sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, and leading cost-saving initiatives. The position will provide leadership to the development and maintenance of key metrics and analysis associated with procurement and sourcing.
Required
Education and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or equivalent degree and experience preferred
* A minimum of five years' experience in supply chain or procurement, preferably within a management role
* Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude
* Previous management experience is preferred.
* A sense of urgency and ownership is required.
Essential Functions:

* Assist with the development and tracking of key performance indicators for Supply Chain. This will include KPI's surrounding labor, costs, inventory and other company metrics and Operations-related departmental metrics.
* Lead the development of internal reporting for Supply Chain related issues.
* Create and maintain daily, weekly and/or monthly dashboards, as well as internal performance scorecards.
* Identifies and recommends enhancements to supply chain systems to improve performance.
* Works closely with vendors to support the overall operation. This may include contract negotiation, price negotiation, leading cost save initiatives, supplier corrective actions, and monitoring supplier performance.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position will have supervisory responsibilities upon hiring, direct reports upon hiring. A positive attitude and strong leadership skills are required.

While performing the duties of this job, the team members regularly talk and listen. This position is moderately active when it comes to movement and requires a lot of walking, sitting, lifting, and assisting coworkers.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend and overnight work is also necessary.
Pay Range: $90k - $125K per year
Freedman by Lippert determines pay based on several factors, including but not limited to the position being offered, education, skills, work experience, and other factors permitted by law. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
