Job Summary As a key member of the Procurement organization, the Strategic Sourcing Senior Advisor is a strategic thought partner to business and enterprise leaders, responsible for solving complex sourcing and supplier-related business problems and translating enterprise priorities into actionable strategies. The role combines structured problem solving, data-driven decision making, and stakeholder influence, and procurement expertise to drive measurable business outcomes across Professional Services, with a primary focus on Non-IT Management Consulting firms performing business advisory, Lobbyist, Project Management Firms, other labor areas (non-contingent labor).

What you’ll do:

Own complex sourcing and category work streams from problem definition through recommendation, stakeholder alignment, and execution, including sourcing initiatives (RFP, RFI, RFx), commercial negotiations, category management activities, and supplier relationship strategies for critical enterprise spend categories

Drive complex commercial negotiations and support the development of effective supplier agreements, including Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Amendments, resource pricing models, and supplier rate cards

Analyze financial, supplier, market, and operational data to identify trends, quantify opportunities, and support sourcing strategies, supplier selection, savings plans, and investment decisions

Structure ambiguous business questions and identify the analyses required to drive to actionable insights and recommendations Develop clear recommendations and presentations, translating complex analysis into practical actions and decisions for business and enterprise leaders

Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, constructively challenging assumptions and existing approaches while building alignment across functions and levels of the organization

Lead cross-functional work streams with a high degree of ownership and autonomy, while collaborating effectively across teams and contributing to the development and coaching of colleagues

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience8+ years progressive experience in procurement, supplier management, category management

Proficient at MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point Strategic  and innovative thinker able to influence and advise the business areas

Strong executive presence with outstanding interpersonal, verbal, written communication, and presentation skills

Critical thinking, analytical skills and business acumen

Conflict resolution skills
