Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Service Now SPO Functional Designer / Business Process Consultant
to support the implementation of Service Now Sourcing and Procurement Operations (SPO). The ideal candidate will have strong Service Now functional expertise, procurement domain knowledge, and experience translating business requirements into scalable solutions.
This role will serve as the primary liaison between procurement stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities- Lead discovery sessions and requirements workshops with sourcing and procurement stakeholders.
- Analyze and document current-state and future-state Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Develop business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Translate business needs into Service Now SPO configurations, including catalogs, purchase requests, approvals, purchase orders, and vendor workflows.
- Collaborate with technical teams on solution design, backlog refinement, and Agile delivery.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test case development, and defect resolution.
- Assist with change management, user training, and process improvements.
- Communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership.
- Hands-on Service Now experience
with Sourcing and Procurement Operations (SPO) or procurement-related modules. - Strong understanding of procurement processes, including S2P, P2P, purchasing, and supplier management.
- Experience with Service Now Procurement, Sourcing, Vendor Management, or Contract Management.
- Proven experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, functional design, and user story development.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and executive-level stakeholders.
- Experience implementing or enhancing Service Now SPO solutions.
- Familiarity with procurement workflow automation and approval processes.
- Experience supporting enterprise procurement transformation initiatives.
- Service Now certifications are a plus.
