My Gym Children’s Fitness Center, the ultimate children’s facility in Chicago, is looking to grow its family of teachers at our location in Lincoln Park! We’re seeking someone who has a passion for fitness, really likes kids, and loves to be part of a tight‑knit team that works closely with children and families. A job at My Gym goes beyond just teaching “Mommy and Me” programs and fitness classes;

it involves building relationships and investing in the youth of our community. This is a rewarding role where you’ll find inspiration and genuine appreciation on a daily basis.

• Loves working with children and would consider yourself a kid at heart
• Is a “people person”
• Works well in a fun and supportive collaborative environment
• Has experience in gymnastics, dance, team sports, cheer, martial arts, or a related field
• Is patient, outgoing, and upbeat
• Can work weekends (we throw wonderful birthday parties year‑round)
• Is willing to grow with us and can commit to at least a year of employment

If you answered “yes” to the above questions, you may be the right person for us. As a teacher, you’ll work with children ranging from 4 months to 8 years of age, teaching programs that incorporate basic gymnastics skills, sports, games, movement, songs, and a variety of exciting activities in a positive, non‑competitive environment.

• Ability to work 15+ hours per week, including weekends
• Highly energetic
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
• Experience working with children
• 1‑3 years experience in athletics, sports, dance, cheer, gymnastics, martial arts, or a related field
• Effective leadership and motivational skills
• Effective time management

Compensation: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour.
