We’re looking for senior tradespeople with geotechnical construction experience including soil nailing, micropiles, shotcrete, rock drilling, grouting, and case drilling. This is a travel job with projects across the US. Crews work a 3-week on, 1-week off schedule. All of our work is geotechnical, including geohazard projects like landslide repair, mudslide repair and erosion control, where experienced tradespeople play a critical role in our success.

• Work with a Superintendent and teammates to apply skills effectively, safely and efficiently.
• Contribute in your specialty area and assist with other tasks to drive project success.
• Travel across the US to perform work with 3-week on / 1-week off or 5-day on / 2-day off schedules depending on location.
• Learn and apply new skills (machines, soils technology, specialty techniques, leadership, problem-solving).

• 3+ years of geotechnical or civil construction experience
• Heavy equipment operation experience (skid steer, excavator, concrete/grout pump, etc.)
• Equipment cleanup and maintenance
• Experience with casing, rock drilling or similar
• Experience with Shotcrete
• At least one year of traveling construction labor experience
• At least one year of working outside in all conditions
• Ability to understand and meet daily production targets
• Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to resolving issues
• Commitment to safety principles and proper use of tools
• Reliability and punctuality

• Climates vary from tropical to desert environments
• Moderate noise with hearing protection often required
• Exposure to typical construction site hazards
• Regular heavy lifting (75 lbs+) of materials

• This is a GMT4 job posting. The wage for that role is $26 - $29/hour
• Hourly rate based on experience. Pay scale increases with:
  • More years of experience and technical expertise with drilling tools
  • Ability to drive (CMV or CDL)
  • Experience or certifications for heavy equipment operations
  • Experience with shotcrete or grouting pumps
  • Experience directing teams, managing customer interactions, or managing projects
• All positions earn overtime
• 100% paid travel
