Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage safety policies and procedures across all construction sites.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards.
  • Provide safety training and education programs for employees and contractors.
  • Investigate workplace incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate safety records and prepare reports for management as required.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure safety measures are integrated into project plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory inspections and safety-related inquiries.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to continually improve safety practices.

A successful Safety Manager should have:

  • A background in construction safety, with experience managing safety programs in the property industry.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to promote safety culture.
  • Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Certification in safety management or a related field is preferred.
