Join a company that’s dedicated to building a culture of safety and excellence. Haz Tek is hiring an experienced Safety Specialist in Chicago, IL to support our growing commercial construction projects.

• Oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects ensuring OSHA compliance
• Conduct daily safety meetings
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
• Ensure all personnel wear their personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Daily safety audits and inspections
• Inspect power tools and heavy equipment

• CHST required
• 5+ years of construction safety experience, including concrete construction (high‑rise/hotel experience preferred)
• OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR required
• Strong knowledge of fall protection, scaffolding, steel erection, and excavation
• Crane and rigging experience a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
