Overview
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Construction Estimator. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as construction estimating, quantity take-offs, cost management, communication, and budgeting. The role is located in Chicago, IL, with flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications- Construction estimating and quantity take-off skills
- Cost management and budgeting skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Familiarity with construction laws and regulations
- Proficiency in relevant software programs, such as Excel, Bluebeam, and Plan Swift
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Bachelor''s degree in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent experience
Experience with LEED certification and sustainability practices is a plus.
