Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead and manage field operations on complex commercial and institutional construction projects. This role is responsible for day-to-day site leadership, subcontractor coordination, quality control, safety compliance, and schedule execution.
Key Responsibilities- Lead onsite construction activities from mobilization through project close‑out
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all field operations, subcontractors, and trade partners
- Maintain daily reports, look‑ahead schedules, and accurate site documentation
- Coordinate closely with the Project Management team to drive schedule and field execution
- Review construction documents and ensure work is performed per plans and specifications
- Utilize construction technology and collaboration tools for coordination and punchlist management
- Conduct regular subcontractor coordination and safety meetings
- Enforce jobsite safety standards and regulatory compliance
- Proactively identify and resolve field issues, constructability challenges, and schedule risks
- Maintain quality control standards and ensure completed work meets project requirements
- Coordinate inspections, punchlists, turnover, and closeout activities
- Serve as the primary on‑site representative for the company
- 4+ years of Superintendent experience on commercial, institutional, or large‑scale building projects
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods, sequencing, and field operations
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Proficiency with construction management software and field technology
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and schedule accountability
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to local jobsites
- Background on technically complex or occupied‑site projects
- Experience mentoring junior field staff
- Strong coordination skills across multiple trades and stakeholders
