As a Project Manager, you will be at the helm of significant Heavy Construction projects (such as bridge work, infrastructure, plant & process) or Construction Management of Buildings (focused on school and municipal markets). This role demands a leader capable of overseeing all aspects of project management from preconstruction to closeout. Although our headquarters is in Chicago, the worksite for this position is in Elgin, IL.

• Pre-construction: Oversee all pre-construction phases including planning and design.
• Contract Management: Administer construction contracts ensuring compliance and performance.
• Scheduling: Utilize advanced scheduling tools like P6 to manage timelines effectively.
• Construction Methods: Determine and apply appropriate construction means and methods.
• Cost Control: Monitor and control costs to maintain budget integrity.
• Payment Processing: Manage the flow of payments to ensure timely completion and financial accuracy.
• Project Closeout: Efficiently close out projects ensuring all objectives are met.
• Miscellaneous Duties: Handle other duties as needed, adaptable to various project needs.
• Versatile Working Environment: Ability to work effectively in both office and field settings.

  Proven experience in heavy construction or vertical building construction.

• Education: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 5-10 years in the construction industry.
