Site Safety Coordinator Job Description
The Site Safety Coordinator will maintain an active presence on an industrial construction site and perform daily safety audits, including detailed reporting and photographs. The role requires coordination with subcontractors, the owner/client, and other vendors on-site. Additionally, the coordinator will partner with Project Managers to understand schedules and timelines for project milestones.

- Perform daily safety audits with detailed reporting and photographs.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, the owner/client, and other on-site vendors.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to understand project schedules and milestones.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards.
- Proficiency in construction management and safety protocols.
- Experience with OSHA regulations and safety audits.
- Strong documentation and quality assurance skills.
- Ability to manage site plans and project schedules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction software.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or similar preferred but not required.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Experience with QA/QC on large projects, ideally in an industrial setting.
- Strong report writing skills.
This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
