Mechanical​/Plumbing Project Manager

This is a well respected MEP contractor in Chicago with a strong track record of delivering complex plumbing and HVAC projects. The team includes experienced project managers, engineers, and field leaders, with a level of stability that reflects how the business operates.

They work across healthcare, commercial, residential, education, and lab projects, giving teams exposure to a wide range of building types and technical challenges. With more than 300 people in the company and close to a century in the industry, they have built long standing client relationships through consistent, reliable project delivery.

• Manage plumbing and HVAC projects from early planning through final delivery
• Work closely with clients and internal teams to align on scope, budgets, and schedules
• Build work plans, project schedules, and fee proposals
• Support contract development and help set clear goals for each project
• Review construction documents and coordinate with consultants
• Help resolve technical and design questions as projects move forward
• Provide guidance and support to team members and junior staff
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants
• Identify opportunities to grow and strengthen client partnerships

• Background in plumbing and HVAC within commercial or similar building sectors
• Degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred
• Experience using Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar tools
• Around 3-5 years or more of project management experience
• PMP is a plus but not required
• Able to balance technical work with clear communication
