Assistant Project Manager

We are partnering with a major mechanical and plumbing contractor in Greater Chicago that is growing and looking to bring an Assistant Project Manager on board. If you want hands on experience, real mentorship, and a place where you can build a long career, this is a solid move.

Supporting the Project Manager with day to day project needs

Helping build schedules, resource plans, and timelines

Reviewing plans, specs, RFIs, and blueprints

Coordinating with PMs, foremen, and field teams so everyone stays aligned

Helping with estimation and the bidding process, including tracking costs and preparing reports

Monitoring budgets with guidance from the PM

Supporting close out tasks like punch lists, as built drawings, and turnover documents

Keeping an eye on plumbing codes, safety rules, and industry standards

Helping make sure safety logs, meetings, and protocols are followed on site

One to two years experience is great, especially on plumbing projects, but not a must

Any exposure to plumbing project management or estimating is a bonus

An interest in growing your career with hands on training and support
