Weigel Broadcasting Co. is a family‑owned media company based in Chicago, Illinois, that owns and operates national television networks and local broadcast stations throughout the country. This position is an immediate opening for a Part‑Time Master Control Operator in a fast‑paced, growing environment.

• Set up, control, and monitor television broadcast equipment to transmit programs and commercials.
• Conduct on‑air switching, dubbing, and transferring of programs.
• Gather satellite feeds for broadcast use.
• Support the production of newscasts and other live or taped programming for television and multi‑platform use.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Pay rate: $20.00–$25.00 per hour, with final offer based on education, skills, experience, and location.

• In‑office position.
• At least two years of broadcast or video experience.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a live television broadcast environment.
• Developed responsible work habits with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Technical skills: television equipment operation, automation systems, disk‑based video servers, satellite controllers, video waveform and vector scopes, master control switching and routing systems.
• Proficiency with personal computers using word processing and database software.
