Master Control Operator

• Broadcast Operations including setting up, controlling and monitoring television broadcast equipment to transmit programs and commercials to the viewing audience
• On‑air switching, dubbing, and transferring programs
• Gathering satellite feeds for broadcast use

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $20.00-$25.00/hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

In‑Office

At least two years of broadcast or video experience. Must demonstrate the ability to perform under pressure in a live television broadcast environment.

Must have developed and displayed responsible work habits with minimal supervision. Work shifts can include overnights, weekends and holidays.

• Television equipment operation experience, automation systems, disk‑based video servers, satellite controllers, video waveform and vector scopes, master control switching and routing systems.

Proficiency with personal computers using word processing and database software a must.
