Overview of the Company
Fox TV Stations owns and operates 29 full‑power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These stations are located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and have duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment, and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week.
These stations leverage viewer, distributor, and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.
Fox News 32 is seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, solution‑oriented, and a team player, with the flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, early mornings, and overnights. The ability to shoot video is a plus but not required, and a willingness to learn other broadcast‑related skills is desired.
Key Responsibilities- Create broadcast‑quality content quickly in a live environment with a keen eye for detail.
- Transform raw video into news packages, features, and show opens.
- Develop graphics that enhance the news story.
- Operate efficiently on non‑linear edit platforms like Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro.
- Prioritize assignments and adhere to deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in non‑linear editing using Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong passion for news.
- Proven news editorial judgment and broadcast experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.
- Familiarity with iNews or similar newsroom applications.
- Excellent time‑management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with producers.
- Capable of taking direction and working independently.
- Interest and ability in technical troubleshooting.
- Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overnights.

Compensation and BenefitsPursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location, is $30.30–$46.91 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for union‑represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
