The Worship Pastor is primarily responsible for helping and supporting the Lead Pastor of Broadway Church, in any and every way possible, in making the overall ministry of the church more effective and glorifying to God. Primarily, this pastor equips members to serve in the worship ministry of the Church to encourage congregational participation in multi-generational worship through the use of psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.
This man is to be qualified as an elder according to 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:5–9.
- Responsible for all areas of Broadway Worship ministry as it pertains to leadership and development of the worship choir, orchestra, and praise teams.
- Cast and direct vision for the choral ministry of Broadway, including but not limited to multi-generational worship choirs, etc.
- Provide counsel and assistance with the Northpoint Christian School ministries in the area of worship and media.
- Plan all church-wide services with and under the leadership of the Lead Pastor.
- Responsible for the budgets pertaining to the worship ministry of the church.
- Lead the congregation multi-generationally to encourage one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, and raise up the next generations to do the same.

THE ROLE
The Lead Worship Pastor leads and develops worship experiences that are Christ-centered, Spirit-led, and culturally accessible. This leader ensures musical and creative excellence across all campuses and ministries, fosters a culture of authentic worship, and equips worship leaders, musicians, and production volunteers to carry out the mission of the church.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and lead weekly worship services in partnership with the teaching pastor and execute with the Worship & Production Coordinators.
- Lead worship at the broadcast campus; oversee worship leaders at additional campuses.
- Ensure theological alignment, artistic excellence, and spiritual vitality in all worship environments.
- Recruit, train, and shepherd worship team volunteers (musicians, vocalists, leaders).
- Provide spiritual leadership and pastoral care to volunteers and staff.
- Develop a volunteer leadership pipeline through coaching, mentoring, and ongoing training environments fit for their level of talent.
- Partner with the Teaching Pastor and Creative Team in service design, integrating music, media, and pastoral elements to create impactful experiences.
- Assist with seasonal services (Easter, Christmas, Growth Track Worship) and special events.
- Manage scheduling, budgets, and resources for the worship ministry.
