Job Description

NBC's "Chicago Fire" Season 15 is casting a Latino male stand-in for upcoming production work in the Chicago area. The production is seeking a dark-haired man ages 30-50 who closely matches the height, build, complexion, and overall appearance required to double for a principal cast member. This paid Chicago television stand-in opportunity involves working directly with the camera and lighting departments during technical rehearsals.

The selected performer will take the actor's place while crews establish lighting, framing, camera angles, and scene blocking before filming begins.

Job Responsibilities
  • Serve as a stand-in for a principal actor on "Chicago Fire" Season 15
  • Take the actor's position during lighting adjustments and camera setups
  • Reproduce assigned blocking, movements, and positioning accurately
  • Hit designated marks consistently during technical rehearsals
  • Assist camera and lighting crews as they establish framing and scene coverage
  • Follow instructions from assistant directors and other production personnel
  • Maintain consistent positioning between setups and rehearsals
  • Remain attentive and available throughout a potentially long production day
Requirements
  • Latino male talent, ages 30-50
  • Dark hair
  • Height approximately 5'9"-5'11"
  • Weight approximately 175-185 lbs.
  • Must closely match the principal actor's general complexion, hair color, height, and build
  • Must be local to Chicago, surrounding suburbs, or states bordering Illinois
  • Previous stand-in, background acting, or other professional on-set experience should be included when applying
  • Able to follow detailed blocking and positioning instructions
  • Comfortable working a potentially extended production day
  • Dependable and professional while working with a television production crew
Compensation
  • $192 for up to 8 hours
  • Time-and-a-half overtime after 8 hours
  • Paid television stand-in opportunity
