Receptionist at Lifespace Communities, Inc.

Location: Oak Trace, 200 Village Drive, Downers Grove, Illinois 60516

Pay Range: $17.11-$23.51+ Hourly

We invite you to join our Customer Service team as a Receptionist. The role revolves around welcoming residents, guests, and team members, managing front‑desk duties, and supporting the community’s communication needs.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist all residents, guests, and team members in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Ensure visitors sign in, validate the nature of their visit, and notify the resident and team member of the visitor.
  • Answer phones and other communication devices promptly and transfer messages to the appropriate party.
  • Perform minor financial transactions associated with selling stamps, community food certificates, fax and/or photo copying.
  • Notify residents, guests, and team members of severe weather via paging system and/or phone calls.
  • Receive and ensure distribution of mail and other deliveries to the appropriate person or department.
  • Perform administrative tasks for supervisor, residents and guests as requested.
  • Maintain and update all informational communication channels for residents.
  • Perform set‑up and close‑down procedures of the reception/front‑entry area.
Qualifications
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • No experience required. A willingness to learn is needed.
