The Adler Planetarium is seeking a Guest Service Representative to join our dynamic team located on Chicago's Museum Campus. This position fulfills multiple responsibilities: gate attending at the main box office and theaters, ticket sales at the accessible entrance, group processing, and orientation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Greet guests with a friendly demeanor and verify tickets, discounts, and admission eligibility.
• Orient groups on buses during intake and assist with departure, organize and manage lunch space, greet and orient groups to Planet Explorers, and enforce rules.
• Verify and sell tickets at theaters, usher guests, organize seating, and ensure guest safety.
• Redeem and sell tickets accurately, conducting transactions.
• Provide exceptional customer service on-site and to those contacting the museum.
• Set up and display signage indoors and outdoors.
