Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a dependable Customer Service Representative to support credit union members in a high-volume contact center environment. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, communicates with patience and professionalism, and can navigate multiple systems while handling inbound inquiries. The role focuses on delivering accurate account support, explaining available services, and creating a positive experience for members across a growing organization.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to incoming member calls and provide timely assistance with account questions, service requests, and general product information.
• Guide members through banking-related inquiries with a calm, courteous approach, especially when assisting individuals who may need extra patience and reassurance.
• Use several desktop applications and screens at the same time to research accounts, document interactions, and complete service tasks accurately.
• Explain credit union products and available solutions clearly so members can make informed decisions about their needs.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of conversations, follow-up steps, and resolutions within internal systems.
• Support increased service demand related to recent organizational growth while continuing to meet quality and responsiveness expectations.
• Participate fully in onboarding, orientation, and scheduled training to build knowledge of policies, procedures, and member support standards.
• Work a rotating schedule that includes weekday shifts and two Saturday mornings per month, with adjusted time during the same week to remain within standard hours.
