Customer Service/Sales Representative

We are looking for a personable and driven Customer Service/Sales Representative to join a team in Chicago, Illinois in a contract-to-permanent capacity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, managing service-related administrative tasks, and building strong relationships through clear communication. The position blends customer support, billing assistance, claims support, and sales-oriented service while offering the opportunity to grow through hands-on training and ongoing coaching.

Responsibilities:

• Provide responsive support to customers by handling inbound and outbound communication, resolving questions, and guiding them toward appropriate solutions.
• Enter and maintain accurate customer information, update records, and complete order or service-related documentation with attention to detail.
• Assist with billing activities, payment processing, and policy-related updates to ensure accounts remain current and accurate.
• Support claim-related inquiries by gathering information, explaining next steps, and helping customers navigate the process efficiently.
• Follow up on customer quotes, requests, and open items within established timelines, using reminders and organized tracking methods to maintain service quality.
• Participate in scheduled training and coaching sessions to strengthen product knowledge, communication skills, and service effectiveness.
• Monitor personal activity and performance goals on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, and take action to improve results.
• Build lasting customer relationships by identifying service opportunities, encouraging retention, and contributing to a positive client experience.
• Represent the business professionally in customer and community interactions to support brand visibility and local engagement.

The salary range for this position is $22/hr. to $26/hr benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
