What You’ll Do:- Be the go-to guide for patients from diagnosis to scheduling to payments.
- Break down treatment plans in a friendly, clear, and confident way (no jargon!)
- Help patients say YES to treatment with knowledge, compassion, and support.
- Coordinate with doctors and the clinical team to keep things running smoother than a fresh set of veneers.
- Handle financial discussions, insurance benefits, and payment options with professionalism and heart.
- Keep track of follow-ups, case acceptance rates, and treatment progress like a boss.
- Rockstar communication and customer service skills
- Confidence in talking about money and insurance (or willing to learn!)

RequirementsJob Requirements – Treatment Coordinator
To thrive in this role, you’ll need a mix of people skills, organizational savvy, and just the right amount of dental knowledge (or the willingness to learn). Here's what we're looking for:
Education & Experience- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- 2+ years experience in a dental office, front desk, or customer-facing healthcare role (Preferred)
- Prior experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financial options is a major plus
- Familiarity with dental software like Dentrix is helpful
- Bilingual in Spanish is a bonus!
- Understanding of dental procedures, terminology, and basic insurance policies (we’ll train the right candidate!)
- Strong knowledge of PPO plans, pre-authorizations, and insurance breakdowns
- Ability to confidently present treatment options and payment plans in a way that builds trust
- Comfortable discussing costs with patients in a compassionate, clear manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Empathetic, patient-focused, and service-minded
- Energetic and outgoing you love connecting with people
- Ability to build strong rapport with patients and team members alike
- Strong multitasking and time-management abilities
- Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset
- Able to follow up on unscheduled treatment, maintain accurate records, and keep track of deadlines
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment while staying calm, cool, and collected
- Comfortable with computers, scheduling software, and digital forms
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Familiarity with paperless charting and e-insurance systems a plus
- Prior experience in a multi-specialty dental practice
- Sales or case presentation training
- CPR certification
