Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate dentists to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care, with the ability to perform a range of dental procedures and maintain a high level of professionalism. As a dentist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing oral health issues while ensuring a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care:
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Perform routine dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, extractions, crowns, and root canals.
- Administer local anesthesia and sedatives as required.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care practices.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and follow-up care.
- Review and update patient medical histories and treatment outcomes.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Consult with specialists as needed for complex cases or referrals.
- Practice Management:
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, billing, and insurance processing as needed.
- Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Valid state dental license and certification in CPR.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Experience with advanced dental procedures and technologies.
- Familiarity with dental practice management software.
- Bilingual skills (optional, depending on the patient population).
- The role is typically performed in a clinical setting with standard office hours, although some evening or weekend shifts may be required.
- The position involves standing for extended periods and performing manual dexterity tasks.
