Our Chicago dental practice is seeking a full-time General Dentist to start in October/November. The ideal candidate is a skilled doctor focused on providing excellent comprehensive dentistry and contributing to a positive employee culture. The ideal candidate is a skilled doctor focused on providing excellent comprehensive dentistry and contributing to a positive employee culture. • Provide consultation with patients and discuss and treat dental concerns, perform regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establish a comprehensive treatment plan for better dental hygiene and positive restorative outcomes.
• Perform dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, and filling cavities.
  • Correct bite issues and overcrowding.
  • Apply preventative measures for teeth, such as sealants or whiteners.
  • Prescribe medications such as pain medications or antibiotics.
  • Utilize tools such as drills, probes, brushes to examine and treat teeth.
• Keep accurate records relating to the patient's oral health and the treatment rendered.
• Manage positively and communicate with the team to provide outstanding care to patients.
• Diagnose, treat, and plan for oral disease and the oral manifestations of systemic diseases.
• Routine follow-up with patients whom you’ve provided treatment via phone or email.
• Manage patient experiences and expectations to create a positive outcome.

• Active IL state dental license (and malpractice insurance).
• Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and healthcare.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to keep detailed records.
• Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and thorough treatment planning skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities.
• Ability to manage dental complications for any procedure performed on a patient.
• Implant placement/advanced certification if placing implants or performing specialty work.
• Ability to adapt to Dentologie’s learning environment and be willing to accept constructive feedback and guidance.
