Overview

Our River North office is seeking a full-time General Dentist to start in February. The ideal candidate is a skilled provider focused on comprehensive dentistry and contributing positively to employee culture. The practice is located in downtown Chicago in a vibrant neighborhood with easy access to Metra lines and public parking.

What we offer you:

• Pay: 32.5% of adjusted net production (with daily rate through first three months)
• Signing bonus: $5,000 (minimum 1 year experience)

• 8–12 treatment patients per shift (plus hygiene checks with our hygienists)

Responsibilities:

• Provide consultations with patients, discuss and treat dental concerns, perform regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establish comprehensive treatment plans
• Perform dental procedures such as extractions, root canals, fillings; address bite issues and overcrowding; apply preventative measures (sealants, whitening)
• Prescribe medications as needed (pain meds, antibiotics)
• Utilize tools to examine and treat teeth; keep accurate records of patient care
• Communicate with the team to provide outstanding patient care
• Diagnose, plan, and manage oral diseases and oral manifestations of systemic diseases
• Routine follow-up with patients via phone or email
• Manage patient experiences and expectations to create positive outcomes

Qualifications:

• Active IL dental license (and malpractice insurance)
• Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws governing dental and healthcare
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to keep detailed records
• Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures and tools; thorough treatment planning skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities
• Ability to manage dental complications for procedures
• Implant placement/advanced certification if placing implants or performing specialty work
• Adaptability to Dentologie’s learning environment; openness to constructive feedback
