Registered Dental Hygienist; Part-Time

Molar City is a boutique, fee-for-service dental practice in the heart of Lincoln Square. Since 2019 we’ve built a calm, spa-like office where patients get unhurried, thorough care. Our clinicians have the time and support to practice the way they were trained. We’re a small, close-knit team, and every person here matters.

We’re looking for a skilled, personable Registered Dental Hygienist to join us one day a week. You’ll have your own column, a supportive team behind you, and real time with each patient. Fee-for-service means no rushing through the schedule.

You’ll earn a base of $70-$75 per hour, depending on experience, or 25% of your net collections for the day, whichever is higher. Your base is guaranteed, and productive days pay more.

• Perform prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and periodontal maintenance
• Complete periodontal charting, oral cancer screenings, and patient assessments
• Take and review radiographs and intraoral images
• Educate patients on home care and help them understand recommended treatment
• Keep accurate clinical notes and charting in Open Dental
• Join the morning team huddle and help keep the day running smoothly
• Follow infection-control and sterilization protocols

• Active Illinois RDH license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Illinois local anesthesia permit preferred
• 1+ years of clinical hygiene experience; fee-for-service experience a plus
• Open Dental experience preferred
• Warm chairside manner, strong patient communication, and dependable attendance

• $70-$75/hr base (depending on experience) or 25% of net collections, whichever is higher
• Consistent 1-day schedule with no evenings or weekends
