* Job Description:
** The Interior Designer – Hospitality plays an integral role in creating innovative, functional, and visually compelling interior environments for
** hospitality, mixed-use, and amenity-focused projects**.This position is responsible for transforming design concepts into buildable, code-compliant solutions that elevate the guest experience while aligning with
** Onni Group’s brand standards and development objectives**. The ideal candidate combines
** creative vision, technical expertise, and strong project coordination skills**, contributing to concept design, documentation, material sourcing, and installation oversight.
The designer works collaboratively with external architects, designers, and consultants, as well as internal development, construction and procurement teams to deliver high-quality interiors that meet both aesthetic and operational goals. Additional duties may be assigned to support project execution and broader team initiatives.

** What You Will Do
**** Design Development & Documentation
*** Support the design process from
** concept through construction**, including mood boards, renderings, value engineering exercises and FF&E selections.
* Prepare
** presentation packages
** and
** finish boards
** for internal reviews and ownership approvals.
* Develop and maintain
** AutoCAD and Revit drawings**, including plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, millwork details, and finish schedules.
* Translate conceptual ideas into coordinated documentation for consultants, vendors, and contractors.
* Participate in design reviews and contribute insight on materials, lighting, and furnishings.
** Material Sourcing & Vendor Coordination
*** Research, evaluate, and specify
** furniture, finishes, lighting, and artwork
** that align with hospitality design standards.
* Maintain the
** materials library**, ensuring samples reflect current trends, pricing, and sustainability goals.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with
** vendors, reps, and fabricators
** to source innovative products and finishes.
* Obtain quotes, pricing, and technical data to support project budgets, specifications, and procurement efforts.
** Project & Site Coordination
*** Collaborate with
** architectural, MEP, and construction teams
** to ensure design intent is accurately executed.
* Conduct
** site visits
** to review installations, materials, and finishes for quality control and design compliance.
* Coordinate with
** FF&E procurement and logistics teams
** to ensure timely delivery and installation.
* Assist in developing
** mock-ups and prototypes
** for review, approval, or value engineering.
** Brand & Guest Experience
*** Contribute to the creation of interiors that reflect
** brand identity**, enhance
** guest comfort**, and optimize
** operational efficiency**.
* Stay current with
** hospitality design trends**,
** sustainability standards**, and emerging technologies.
* Support the development of
** amenity and lifestyle spaces
** that elevate the guest experience and overall property value.
** What You Bring
*** Bachelor’s degree or diploma in
** Interior Design, Architecture, or related field**.
* ** 3-5 years
** of professional experience in
** hospitality, multi-family, or commercial interior design
** environments.
* Proficiency in
** AutoCAD**,
** Revit**, and
** Adobe Creative Suite** (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
* Experience preparing
** design documentation, FF&E specifications, and construction drawings**.
* Solid understanding of
** ADA**,
** local building codes**, and
** life safety standards**.
* Familiarity with
** LEED**,
** WELL**, or other sustainable design frameworks considered an asset.
* Strong graphic and visualization skills; proficiency in
** Sketch Up, Enscape**, or equivalent rendering tools preferred.
