Compensation:
Negotiable Base Salary with Commission (Expecting Annual Salary Ranging $50k-100k)

We are seeking a full-time Designer/Sales professional to join our Design and Business Development team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about interior design, architecture, or sales to gain hands‑on experience in a hybrid creative and client‑focused role.

In this position, you will work directly with clients on custom cabinetry projects, assist in creating design concepts, and play a key role in showroom sales and business development. Full training is provided, with clear pathways for career growth in design, sales, and project management.

• Design and revise layouts using our in‑house design platform
• Guide clients through the sales and design process in the showroom and virtually
• Assist in preparing client presentations, design proposals, and product materials
• Establish quotes with Netsuite Oracle, follow‑ups, and support throughout the customer journey
• Support lead generation efforts and maintain client relationships
• Coordinate showroom meetings and client jobsite visits
• Contribute to evaluating new business and design opportunities
• Track project progress and collaborate on order and delivery management

• No experience required – a strong interest or background in interior design, architecture, or business development is preferred
• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business, or a related field preferred (recent graduates welcome)
• Familiarity with 2020 Design, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, or Adobe Illustrator is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Suites
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• High work ethic and willingness to learn, take initiative, and take ownership of responsibilities
• Appreciation for beauty in art, spatial design, and a passion for reimagining spaces for clients
• Self‑starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Candidates must be within commuting distance of Elk Grove Village, IL
