Benesch is proud to announce the opening for a Business Development Graphics Designer in our Chicago office. This position is hybrid with work‑from‑home flexibility.

Position Summary

Do you have experience providing graphic designs for client‑facing pitch and proposal materials? Do you thrive on working on multiple projects across varying time zones? Do you have experience in a law firm or professional services organization assisting stakeholders with their business development needs? Then the role of Business Development Graphics Designer may be the one you’ve been looking for! It’s ideal for a creative marketing professional who loves to support professionals in attracting new clientele.

The Business Development Graphic Designer is a member of the Marketing & Business Development Department and is responsible for producing polished, on‑brand materials that support client pitches, proposals, presentations, and other business development needs. The role requires strong attention to detail, creativity, and adaptability to enhance design and presentation quality. The designer must consistently deliver high‑quality, customized materials that accurately reflect each client’s business and industry, ensuring the firm is always presented professionally and visually consistently.

Functions
  • Design, customize, edit, and produce proposals, pitch presentations, and other client‑facing materials, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistent alignment with branding and design standards.
  • Work closely with the Business Development Team to tailor materials to each client’s business and industry and shape the visual approach that supports high‑quality pitch and proposal responses. Help infuse brand identity in RFP submissions by integrating visual elements within required formats.
  • Design materials for business development trainings, events, and internal initiatives, adapting existing templates or developing new layouts as needed.
  • Maintain, update, and organize graphic files, templates, archived materials, and other collateral to ensure easy access and consistency across projects.
  • Coordinate with proofing teams to uphold brand voice, accuracy, and consistency in all creative output, and be responsible for accuracy in final products.
  • Format, edit, and enhance photos, images, charts, and other visual elements. Help maintain the firm’s image libraries.
  • Support the preparation of printed materials, such as sourcing specialty paper, folders or packaging for in‑person business development meetings.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for outsourced printing and production, ensuring deadlines, quality expectations, and budgets are met.
  • Help develop and maintain templates, style guides, and specifications to promote consistency across materials and increase team efficiency.
  • Remain proactive by staying current on design tools and best practices, bringing forward new ideas and technologies to enhance the team’s output.
