CAD Drafter

We’re hiring a CAD Drafter in Rosemont, IL to support architectural design projects focused on improving K-12 school facilities—particularly roof, door, window, and curtain wall replacements. You’ll work in a flexible office-first environment with opportunities for field visits during the summer to observe your designs come to life!

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, including the ability to produce perspective and 30/60/90-degree technical drawings
• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting Technology or related field preferred; however, non-degreed candidates with 3–4 years of relevant experience will be considered
• Passion for building envelopes and a desire to work on existing buildings, especially in the K-12 market
• Participate in design development, producing detailed construction documents for roofing, window, and curtain wall systems
• Conduct site visits during summer months to verify field conditions and observe implementation of your designs
• Work collaboratively with architects and engineers to ensure design accuracy and consistency with field expectations
• Complete internal drafting tests and maintain quality documentation standards
• Maintain a task-oriented schedule with some flexibility, typically working 7–8 AM starts in a supportive team environment

Salary: $66,000 - $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
