- Supports project teams with day-to-day digital workflow tasks, including model organization, file management, view and sheet control, documentation setup, family creation and coordination, title block setup and distribution and adherence to established HKS digital practice standards
- Maintains model health and project data integrity through model setup (leading on large projects, advising on smaller ones) to help with model compatibility for benchmarking studies, ongoing model and CAD cleanup, and management of work sets, views, and sheets in alignment with firm standards and templates
- Assist in developing and modifying project-specific digital content, such as views, sheets, schedules (including floor plans SF, life safety, etc. in Revit), details, and custom components, while meeting project needs and maintaining consistency with digital practice guidelines
- Participates in digital coordination with other disciplines by preparing files, exporting data, monitoring origins and shared coordination and grids, working on BIM coordination with consultant BIM managers, and supporting model exchange processes, including Revit-to-Rhino help for exterior teams
- Applies quality control practices to digital work products to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in documents generated from digital models, such as real time error help for model, CAD cleanup, follow HKS model standards, and provide general graphic help
- Demonstrates developing fluency in the digital applications and platforms used at HKS to support modeling, documentation, coordination, visualization, and data exchange
- Identifies digital workflow issues or inefficiencies, such as working with the HKS LINE team for AI integration and time saving methods into how the team models, and escalates them appropriately following established digital practice procedures
- Coordinates with Digital Practice Specialists when unique project conditions require non-standard content or workflows and supports the implementation of those solutions within the project model, including working as a link between the Digital Practice team and the Health team for family creation, guide sheets, etc.
