, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, invites applications for the position of Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Section of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
. This position will be primarily based at the Autism Assessment, Research, Treatment and Services (AARTS) Center, with a portion of time at Rush Behavioral Medicine’s West Campus. Qualified candidates will be physicians who have completed a Child Psychiatry fellowship. Experience working with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) populations and/or clinical research experience is preferred.
The AARTS Center is the region’s only comprehensive, lifespan autism center and is dedicated to addressing the unmet needs of individuals with neurodevelopmental differences and their families.
Responsibilities- Direct patient care for individuals with neurodevelopmental differences across the lifespan, including specialized diagnostic evaluations and psychopharmacological treatment.
- Supervise trainees in clinical settings and be part of the core faculty for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship training program.
- Participate in research projects, local and national organized medicine, and community education; present clinical and research work academically.
- Engage in opportunities for growing administrative and research leadership skills.
- Physician who has completed a Child Psychiatry fellowship.
- Experience working with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) populations and/or clinical research experience is preferred.
