Overview
Pediatric Gastroenterologist – Clinical Faculty/Physician position at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. This is a full-time clinical faculty role in the Department of Pediatrics and the Section of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.
Location and OrganizationThe Department provides clinical services at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and operates outreach clinics at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. The department may extend its footprint to additional Chicagoland sites as opportunities arise.
Responsibilities- Participate in inpatient and outpatient Pediatric Gastroenterology services, including direct patient care and supervision of medical students and residents.
- Join a team that includes nurses, nutritionists, and social workers.
- Travel to outreach clinics as needed.
- Maintain a strong commitment to patient care, education, clinical medicine and research.
- Completed an approved Pediatric Gastroenterology fellowship program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Gastroenterology by the American Board of Pediatrics.
- Willing and able to travel to outreach clinics.
- Excellent clinical skills, teaching interest, and ability to work well with others.
- Strong commitment to patient care, student and resident education, clinical medicine and research.
The appointment is at the Clinical Faculty/Physician level with a faculty appointment at Rush Medical College commensurate with experience. Compensation includes base pay plus eligible incentive programs. Pay Range: $225,000 – $335,000 per year. Additional compensation may include sign-on and relocation allowances.
