Overview

Mohs Surgeon – Clinical Faculty/Physician
Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution, invites applications for the position of Mohs Surgeon
, primarily at Rush Lisle
. Qualified candidates will have completed an ACGME‑accredited Dermatology Residency and an ACGME‑accredited Micrographic Surgery & Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship.

The successful candidate will join a collegial and expanding department of 19 full‑time faculty and 5 advanced practice providers. The department offers subspecialty expertise in medical dermatology, procedural dermatology, pediatric dermatology, dermatopathology, inpatient consultative dermatology, and complex disease. The candidate will collaborate with clinical leaders in ENT, Medical Oncology, Plastic Surgery, Radiation Oncology, and Surgical Oncology, and actively participate in the Dermatology academic program, including teaching residents and medical students, multidisciplinary conferences, academic sessions with invited speakers, and faculty promotions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology services at Rush Lisle and surrounding facilities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage complex dermatologic conditions.
  • Participate in teaching of Dermatology residents and medical students.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary conferences and academic sessions with invited speakers.
  • Mentor and support faculty and staff for scholarly growth and professional development.
Qualifications
  • Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Dermatology.
  • Completed an ACGME‑accredited Dermatology Residency and a Micrographic Surgery & Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship.
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage complex dermatologic disease.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to academic excellence and research within dermatology.
Benefits & Compensation

Academic rank and compensation will be commensurate with experience. The total pay range for a full‑time, 1.0 FTE Mohs Surgeon is $595,000 – $930,000 (TCC). Compensation includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs. Additional benefits include sign‑on and retention bonuses, relocation allowances, and a comprehensive benefits package that supports professional and personal well‑being.
