Insight Chicago Hospital and Medical Center is seeking Full-time Emergency Medicine Faculty Physicians to join our ED team. We are starting a new Emergency Medicine Residency Program in the heart of urban Chicago, and looking for people dedicated to Emergency Medicine and Resident Education. The department of EM is looking for full-time Clinician Educator, with Faculty appointments available for eligible candidates.

We seek candidates who are looking to develop as an academic leader in Emergency Medicine. Faculty will have access to grant funding, research associates and GME involvement. Candidates must be ABEM-certified or board-eligible.

These duties are to be performed in a highly confidential manner, following the mission, values, and behaviors of Insight Hospital and Medical Center. Employees are further expected to provide a high quality of care, service, and kindness toward all patients, staff, physicians, volunteers, and guests.

• Residency completed in Emergency Medicine.
• ABEM certified (or Board Eligible within 3 years of residency completion).
• ACLS required for all providers.
• Experience with teaching and academics.

• Compensation ~$,000 annual, based on full time hourly,, plus Benefits and CME allowance.

• 40,000 annual ED visits expected.
• 25-Bed ED with separate Fast-track zone run by APCs.
• Be involved in teaching residents and resident education/conference.
• Provide compassionate care to community and practice evidence-based standards of care for provision of emergency medical services.
• Engage in scholarly activity, dedicated research department for support.
