Salary & Benefits

Annual salary range: $440,000 – $500,000
. Sign‑on bonus: not available. Benefits include continuing medical education allowance, paid time off, well‑being fund, 401(k), paid parental leave, malpractice insurance, and administrative support to focus on patient care.

The physician will treat patients at Northwestern Medical Group (NMG) and Northwestern Medicine hospitals, office locations, and health care facilities. The clinical schedule will be maintained to provide timely and comprehensive medical services.

• Treat patients at NMG offices and hospitals.
• Maintain a clinical schedule on days, hours, and locations as required.
• Provide teaching to medical residents, fellows, medical students, nurses, and other health care providers.
• Provide on‑call coverage as reasonably required.
• Refer patients for specialized medical care to NMG network specialists, ensuring referral does not interfere with patient preference and best medical interests.
• Participate in practice unit meetings and quality assurance activities.
• Comply with billing, documentation, and related policies, procedures, and systems established by NMG.
• Perform other duties consistent with physician employment as assigned by the President or designee.

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Board certification in relevant specialty.
• Active medical license in the state of Illinois.
